1.2 Features

This application finds duplicate files. Each target file has priority that is either primary or secondary. The application detects the duplicates of the files set to primary. In other words, you can narrow the scan results by setting the files you are concerned in to primary.

2 How to Use

2.1 Basic Operations

To find and delete duplicate files:
  1. Click the "File | Add Files" menu item - a file dialog appears.
  2. Select target files and close the dialog.
  3. Select the files to set to primary.
  4. Click the "Edit | Priority | Set Primary" menu item - the files are set to primary.
  5. Click the "Scan | Start" menu item - a scan starts.
  6. Wait until the scan ends - duplicate files are shown in the "Duplicate" page and the others in the "Unique" page.
  7. Select the files to delete.
  8. Click the "Tools | Move to the Recycle Bin" menu item - the files are moved to the recycle bin.

2.2 Target Files

If you specify a directory for a scan target, its subdirectories are also included as scan targets. They have the same priority with the specified directory.

2.3 Scan Options

You can specify multiple file extensions by separating them with semicolons (example: txt;rtf;doc;htm;html). The empty file extension is ignored (example: "txt;;rtf" equals to "txt;rtf").

2.4 Sort Method of List Items

In a sort operation of list items, the original order is preserved as possible. If there are items equal in the specified aspect, their relative positions does not change.
