Usage
Finding Duplicate Files
To find duplicate files:

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "Add > Regular Files..." to display the dialog box.

Choose the files to search.

Select the files to set to primary.

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "Priority > Primary" to set the files to primary.

Click "Scan" to start a scan.
The command "Add > Directory Entries..." lets you choose a directory and
adds its entries. The files include the entries in all the sub-directories.
When you try to add a file that is already in the list, the file is
removed from the list without confirmation. Then the file is added to the
list as a new entry. The data of the old entry are not succeeded to the
new one.
Dupy Scan compares entries referring to the data displayed in the list.
The data is retrieved when the files are added to the list. Exceptions
are hashes and binaries. They are referred to at the scan time. To update
the registered data, add the files to the list once again.
The sort commands arrange list items in order. They performs stable
sort. That is, it is assured that the previous order is sustained as possible.
Moving Duplicate Files to the Recycle Bin
To move duplicate files to the recycle bin:

Find duplicate files.

Select the files to move to the recycle bin.

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "Shell > Move to Recycle Bin..." to move the files to the recycle
bin.
If you want to leave the files written earliest and move the others to
the recycle bin. Select the files as below and move them to the recycle
bin.

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "View > Sort By > Last Write Time" to sort the items by last write
time.

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "Select First in Group" to select the first item in each group.

Right-click the list to display the shortcut menu.

Click "Reverse Selection" to reverse the selection.
Saving Results to a File
To save results to a file:

Find duplicate files.
-
Right-click the main window to display the shortcut menu.
-
Click "Save Results..." to display the dialog box.

Choose the save file.
The results are saved as a list of paths. Duplicate files in the same group
are placed in row. Groups are separated by blank lines. Unique files and
no-result files are not included there.
